Cannot match anyone always get the error "your opponent has left the match", seen multiple threads without any solution, so frustrating to buy a game and unable to play it.

Bought the game last week and I'm facing the issue ever since, tried reinstalling the game, made a whole new squad but the issue persists .
No issue with squad battles , in friendlies I face the same issue but I do find a match after 5/6 searches , but in rivals I couldn't find a match for an hour today with the game giving me the same error.
@Anirudh65Squad battle is offline mode where rivals/champs is online mode.
try below options and see if this works for you
1. Check if you have active PSN or not.
2. Make sure you are using LAN cable for Internet connection.
3. Also, try disabling cross play (until your issue gets sorted)
4. Make sure Approximate Location Matchmaking is ON.

Yeah the same thing has been happening to me too and I'm in division 1. This bug is just in the PS4 version of the game not the new gen.
By the time ea fixes this issue fc 25 would've come out so I'm not hoping for much
