Am I missing something? Win not given

This is the first time I’ve played champs this year so I may be missing something. I was 5-2 up in around the 60th minute. My opponent paused the game and then I got an on screen message saying my opponent had left the game, it then sent me back to the fc Home Screen where neither the game or the win counted. Is this reviewed and added later on? I thought it was being improved at the moment for games counting as wins when opponents leave early
