EA FC 25 Weekend League – Hacked, Disconnected, and Given a Loss? UNFAIR!
Hi EA team and fellow players,
I’ve been a loyal and consistent FIFA/EA FC player since 2013. I’ve bought every copy year after year, invested real money into FIFA Points, and dedicated countless hours into this game. Despite its flaws, I’ve always found joy in playing — especially in the Weekend League, where I’ve had solid results, consistently getting 12–14 wins, and even achieving 15–0 multiple times.
But since the start of TOTS (Team of the Season), things have taken a dark turn.
Even with Crossplay disabled, I’ve been matched with players using scripts or, worse, outright hacks. I don’t mind facing script users — I beat most of them. But hackers? That’s a different story.
This weekend, I had the worst experience ever. I was clearly winning a match 7–6 in extra time, and right after the final whistle, I was disconnected, and the game counted as a loss. How is that even possible? I won. The result was done. And yet I was robbed of a win due to a malicious exploit or hack.
I did not quit. My internet connection was stable. This is on EA’s end or caused by bad actors manipulating the match result.
And I’m not the only one. This is happening more and more, and it’s destroying the integrity of Weekend League and the game as a whole. We are paying customers, spending hundreds of dollars/euros annually, and we deserve fair gameplay.
Worse, this whole incident made me so angry that I physically harmed myself out of sheer rage. That’s how emotionally violating and frustrating it is when this kind of thing happens — repeatedly — with no real action or remedy from EA.
What I’m Asking For:
Investigate my match history (specific game was a 7–6 win that got recorded as a loss due to a disconnect - was my last game).
Restore the win I rightfully earned.
Punish or ban the player involved if foul play is detected.
Address the hacking problem, especially those using disconnection exploits in FUT Champs.
EA – do better. This community deserves transparency, accountability, and real action.
Respectfully,
A long-time and now extremely frustrated player
