FIFA/FC games have always been buggy messes on release. The player base gets annoyed then moves on as things are slowly patched over a year but this is genuinely the worst experience I have ever had with a new FIFA. I feel bad for the game devs that were clearly given 15 minutes and a packet of crisps to crank this out. I’m appalled and EA should be genuinely ashamed.

Absolutely agree, the game is basically unplayable. This is the worst effort I've ever seen on a fifa game. It downright feels like they don't even test their game before releasing, cause these error don't happen ''every now and then'' but every match.

My thoughts exactly, I lost 80 euros in the most stupid way, on the most useless of all FIFA+EA games. I thought FC24 was a fiasco, but compared to FC25, it was a real success.My players are so slow and helpless, as if they were kept in the desert, without water and food and then brought to the field. The offside does not work correctly, there were phases when I paid attention, the opponent was one meter before my last defender and the goal was validated. The defense tactic has no logic, my defenders run away from the opposing attackers, they do not press and the passes are completely wrong.This is the last year I buy this game, I'm waiting until another company comes out with a better product.

I was very adamant on the previous forums and now answers about how bad the past 5-6 fifa have been with special attention to the last 3. I never thought that it could go downhill so fast. At least the last few were playable at launch and in many ways they just got worse throughout the year with all the suspected things going on behind the gameplay, the patches, cards getting nerfed, crappy gameplay. BUT THIS GAME, is on a different level of jacked up. You can’t even play the way you want anymore. Other years you could play your style and know you would lose but at least have some respect. This gameplay now is basically who gets the right bounce, lobbed ball, or godly keeper. God forbid you have lag because then the L1 speed boost trick will do you in quickly. you can’t turn, pass, defend, switch, cross, shoot. It’s all completely broken. With a million tactics and settings, nothing is consistent, it’s a different/worse game every time in turn it back on.

I'm close to deleting my EA account for good. I've never played a game so broken and manipulative. Some of things that happen in this game beggars belief. EA is that money hungry they don't care how miserable the user experience is.

@mikashakira Honestly, when the game first came out, it was amazing. The speed boost for attackers was great—we could dribble easily, and defenders couldn’t catch up with the attackers. A lot of people complained that the speed boost was overpowered, and then they dropped the first update, which completely nerfed the speed boost. It made attackers ridiculously slow, defenders super fast, and gave defenders the upper hand in everything. In my opinion, that first update was a disaster and the main reason for all the problems we’re dealing with now.
It messed up player movement, speed, and even dribbling and skill moves—they all became slower and heavily impacted. To this day, we’re still suffering because of that update. All of this happened because they didn’t know how to nerf the speed boost properly without ruining the game, but they ended up ruining it anyway.
As for the second update (the current one), it only made slight changes to the overpowered defenders. They reduced their ability in some situations, like when defenders could easily keep up with the fastest attackers like Mbappé. They also made defending a bit more manual because tackles were too excessive and overly automatic before.
But overall, the game is still bad, unbalanced, and not fun at all. Whether it’s in attack or defense, the gameplay doesn’t feel enjoyable. You get bored after playing for a short time. In my opinion, older versions like FIFA 21 or 22 were way more fun than this. Sadly, the current state of the game is just bad.

Most fc childs in September complained about the game because the game when came out wanted to walk a little with simulation football game but all you complained about why was slow, the dribbles not win the defenders,we can't win, offsides all the time and bla bla... All of you want an ARCADE game every year.But Fc 25 was very very good game when came out to all of the players want something different something to close to real football.And now EA listening YOU and Totally they destroy the gameplay after the latest updates..I played efootball before I like more the simulation gameplay not arcade and this year the ea make a good try to go to that road .I played fifa Long time a go and when I play this year I liked and I buyed but after period with updates they destroy the game .make it again and again arcade. The last update destroy the defence ,make shoots easy to score, more fast,easy dribbles why why why?pffff we don't have one simulation football game nowadays and I liked a lot this year when first come out fc 25 before the updates and totally the latest update is the worst

The game was already terrible and buggy. After the last patch, it feels like you're playing basketball. Every match there are 6-7 goals. It has nothing to do with football, it's a complete freak.

I think I'm done with EAFC after this edition, with GTA 6 on the way, why bother?
* I can't stand the gameplay especially tackle spamming, deflections/rebounds, how inconsistent it feels on a game to game basis. Every action you take feels jammy. The fixes don't fix anything and if they do, they create other problems.
* The servers are poor & not up to the standards they should be for a triple A game that makes this much money per annum.
* Even the menu grind has been ruined. Everything is deliberately priced to send you into the store even those 83x10's. Exchanges were a great addition if you wanted to improve your team and of course EA doesn't bring them back. On my no money account, I can't get any low rated fodder. To me this matters because I used to like grinding for cards in between playing.
* This game, more than ever feels exploitative. Packs were 1 thing but season boosts, triple token packs, paid EVO's with time limits lol, nothing is priced to where it is within reach because..
* It's borderline impossible to make coins off rewards, doing the never ending grind unless you're in the top 1% of the player base. Pack after pack, gives you nothing worthwhile. Like why am I even doing this anymore?
* This game is built for, made for & marketed towards that top 1% I mentioned. Why even bother playing it anymore? Might aswell save yourself the time, money, effort and just go and watch them play. It's less stress, probably more fun than actually doing the weekly grind required to improve your team.
* Then there is one of my favorite things "The Fairness Mantra" that companies like this one go on and on about ad nauseum without actually practicing what they preach to give some examples: People who spend either 100's of dollars on a given promo to pack these "special" cards or go through the aforementioned never ending grind or both, to not pack anything, only to wake up one morning & see EA have made a mistake & given people who happen to win the timezone lottery the best card of said promo without any recourse or explanation, compensation. Or the fact they can't bothered to do something about blatant cheating that is people quitting on draws, dashboarding at a red card or when they equalize yet if this game boots you before a ball is kicked it's a insta loss.
It's really just all these things combined that make this game one of the worst experiences of any video game on the market today.

FC26 will be the first fifa I don't buy in years. The game is appaling, everytime I boot up the game i'm bored within 5 minutes because the gameplay is terrible and you never feel in control.
I know EA like to ban you for this but the game IS SCRIPTED AF, it's the most buggy and laggy game ever.
25 is the worst reviewed fifa in history and it shows, from the new Low iq tactics to the blatant match fixing. If you buy anything in the FUT store then you contribute to the problem and can't complain about the game since you're feeding the issue directly

Haven't touched the game for a week and after reading most of the posts here, think I'll leave this unrealistic, ping pong, sonic speed arcade fest * alone.
Waste of money.
