This is not me backing up the “it’s your internet” claim in any way shape or form, there is definitely server issues, but yes not wrong in some aspects, lag can sometimes just be dictated by what’s around your router, netmeter .co.uk/pingtest, shows you if there is anything that’s affecting you “connection” that’s device to router showing interference, jitter needs to be below 1ms for you to turn around and say “It’s EA servers” not my connection. (See attached picture).
But generally if you have enough bandwidth, low latency, and low jitter you don’t tend to experience lag. The disconnection error that they blame on our connection when you have multiple devices with no issues and all the above is laughable.
Personally I work in tech for a media company who specialises in wifi interference and that was the response from EA, that it was my connection when I’m currently rocking a 3.3gb connection with low latency and 0.2 jitter, with more bandwidth available that a little game like EAFC can take.
