Online tournaments glitch

I have been playing online tournaments for quite some time now on PlayStation. However it is becoming quite frustrating with a glitch where your opponent enforces a loss on you when they pause the match and disconnect or even without playing in the first place. I would choose the kits and go onto the match and in the loading screen the other olayer disconnects and after a while I get a message that I lost the match. 
For example, on of the players that I faced multiple times and have reported to EA on several occasions without any action is the player showing in the attached photos (Overt-ballroom9) where he always wins and gets passed onto the next round without playing and you can see that clearly from the scoreboard not showing a score while other matches would show.

it is becoming utterly frustrating to play this game anymore honestly with EA not fixing glitches nor punishing such players.
