Suggestions for EA Sports to Enhance the Game Experience in FC 26
Dear EA Sports Team,
I am a passionate fan of the game and would like to offer the following suggestions to improve the overall experience in the upcoming version, FC 26. Given the advancements in football simulation and the ever-growing expectations of fans, I believe these enhancements could significantly enrich the game. Below are my suggestions:
1. Captain Armband Change
The ability for the captain's armband to be transferred to another player when the captain is substituted. This would add realism to the game as it reflects real-life scenarios where captains hand over the armband to another player during matches.
2. Injury Substitution
The game should reflect the substitution of an injured player with more detail, such as showing medical staff assisting the player off the pitch and an actual substitution process, rather than just swapping players instantly.
3. Positioning for High Throws
A button or option should be added to prompt taller players to come forward for long throws. This would add another layer of strategy and realism, particularly during throw-ins.
4. Fouls and Post-Foul Confrontations
Adding post-foul confrontations and realistic player reactions would enhance the emotional depth of the game. This would make the in-game interactions more authentic, as players often engage in confrontations after fouls in real matches.
5. Add Asian Champions League and Other Leagues
One of the most anticipated features would be the inclusion of the Asian Champions League (ACL), as well as regional leagues such as the Iranian Pro League, Uzbekistan League, and others. Given the growing popularity and viewership of these leagues, it would be a valuable addition for players in those regions.
6. Stadium Decorations and Club Awards
Showcasing trophies, awards, and significant moments from the club’s history in the stadium would greatly enhance the authenticity. For example, Old Trafford could display the statue of Sir Alex Ferguson, or Barcelona’s Camp Nou could showcase their historic trophies and murals.
7. Incorporate Legends in the Stands
The presence of club legends or iconic figures in the stands, watching the match, would add to the historical atmosphere. Imagine seeing Sir Alex Ferguson or Peter Schmeichel attending a Manchester United game, or a similar presence for legends from other clubs.
8. Referee Faces
The faces of referees should be accurately modeled and integrated into the game. Just like coaches and players, referees should have their likenesses represented in the game. This would increase the realism and immersion of the matchday experience.
9. Historical Versions of Clubs
Adding an option to play with clubs from different historical eras would be a fascinating addition. For example, allowing players to choose Barcelona from 2010 or Real Madrid from the early 2000s, complete with players and teams from those times, would provide an exciting new way to play.
10. VAR Implementation
Including VAR (Video Assistant Referee) in the game, where decisions can be reviewed by the referees, would add another layer of realism. It would also increase the strategic aspect of the game, where players need to deal with the possibility of VAR reviews influencing match outcomes.
11. Fixing Licensing Issues for Logos and Stadiums
For clubs like Inter Milan and AC Milan, which are currently missing official logos, kits, and stadiums due to licensing issues, it would be great if these could be included in future updates. It’s frustrating to see iconic clubs without their true representation in the game.
12. Substitution Dialogues and Manager Interaction
A feature where managers are shown speaking with their players during substitutions or discussing strategy with their assistants would add more depth to the managerial side of the game. For example, seeing a coach communicate with a player coming off the pitch or express frustration when a team misses a scoring opportunity would bring more immersion.
13. Incorporating Cool Manager Movements
Given the growing popularity of manager interactions on social media (like dribbling or juggling the ball), it would be great to have animations where the manager juggles or controls the ball during throw-ins or other moments. This would be a fun and trendy addition to the game.
14. Enhanced Managerial Celebrations
In addition to on-pitch player celebrations, showing managers celebrating with their staff or reacting passionately on the sidelines after important moments would greatly enhance the emotional connection. Whether it’s a critical goal or a key match, capturing the manager’s excitement would add to the realism.
15. Emphasizing the Growth of Asian Football
Given the rapid growth of football in Asia, especially with countries like Iran, which has one of the largest football followings, it would be great to see EA Sports add more focus on Asian leagues. For example, the AFC Champions League and domestic leagues like Iran’s Pro League should be integrated. This would reflect the growing impact of Asian football on the global stage.
Thank you for your consideration of these suggestions. I believe they would significantly enhance the game experience and provide a more immersive and engaging environment for players worldwide.
Best regards,
Mohammad Saleh Soltaninejad
