Suggestions for future EA FC titles
- Release it in a finished state
- Let us adjust the foul frequency in a more in-depth way. Right now if you amp it up for the CPU they just commit yellow card offenses, it should be possible to adjust it in a way that it resembles an actual football match where tactical fouls happen all the time. If this annoys people they don't need to change it.
- Add an option to disable Tifo's at the start of the game, these are rarely used in real life
- Add seasons, time of day and all weather options to Cup kick-offs such as Champions League! Right now they're preset to autumn, sunny and 9pm! League phase matches are taking place until February so it should be possible to set it to winter at least.
- Fix the leg system. Right now when you play the 1st leg of a knockout round it doesn't actually do anything and in the 2nd leg the commentators talk as if it had never happened and treat it as the 1st leg. The result is also not incorporated into the 2nd leg. And give us an option to play it as a leg-based round or just a single match.
- Increase low shots. I can't believe this franchise exists since 31 years yet every single goal is scored by a full blast hammered into the net. Real shots are more nuanced and diverse, most often struck low and accurate into a corner. It is impossible to do Mbappé's signature goal without pressing the respective buttons. You say "well then just press them" but CPU should also do these kind of shots for realism.
- Match-ups should be more realistic. When you play Manchester City vs Club Brügge on World Class it's an even playing field with both teams playing rather attacking football. This is not what happens in real life. Teams should by default play a low block against such a strong opponent and wait for counter-attacks. If you don't like it you should be able to turn it off or include the realistic version in the tactical mode.
- CPU should do realistic celebrations, i.e. not celebrate as if they just won the league title after getting one back after being down 5-0 against you
