can't open the game

is it just me that anytime i try to start up ea fc it says unable to connect to the internet when i am connected the stays on the splash screen for a long time then my pc crashes and i have the specs to play the game but this happens every time i try to play the game and has only been happening for the past week so i haven't been able to play the game

if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it could you please let me know how
