EA Anti-Cheat Fails to Install, Unable to Play EA SPORTS FC 25

Question

About two weeks ago, I was still able to play EA SPORTS FC 25 completely normally without any issues. However, for the past few days, I can no longer play the game due to a problem with EA Anti-Cheat not being installed properly.

I have already tried many possible solutions, including reinstalling the game and following several troubleshooting steps suggested online. I also tried downloading and installing the EA Anti-Cheat installer manually, but during the installation process, an error always occurs.

I have attached an image below that shows the error message I receive during the EA Anti-Cheat installation.

Because of this issue, FC 25 is currently unplayable for me. I would really appreciate any help or guidance on how to fix this problem.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Do you happen to have any accents, symbols or non-Latin characters in your Windows username or install path?

Hi, thanks for the reply.No, my Windows username and installation path only contain standard characters (no accents or special characters).Please let me know what else I can check.

Thanks for checking. Here are a few other things to check:

Run EA Anticheat installer as an administrator. Right click on EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe and choose Run as administrator
Temporarily turn off any third party antivirus and Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access. Re-enable these after installing
Install the game to a short path. Something like C:\Games\FC 25
