EA SPORT FC 25 Stuck on Splash Screen After Title Update 17

Platform:
PC (Steam + EA App Integration)

OS:
Windows 10 (64-bit)

Issue Summary:
After updating to Title Update 17, EA SPORT FC 25 is completely stuck on the splash screen. the game doesn't proceed to the loading bar or main menu. It stuck at the initial EA/FC 25 logo and stays there indefinitely. This issue started immediately after installing TU17. Prior to this, the game was working on TU16, although occasionally stuck.

Steps Tried (None of These Fixed the Issue):
   1.
Verified game files via Steam
   2. Cleared EA App cache
   3. Disabled steam overlays
   4. Ran game directly via FC25.exe as Administrator
   5. Update all drivers and Windows
   6. Disabled antivirus and unnecessary background applications

Additional Notes:
   1.
This program only appeared after TU17.
   2.
The same hardware and setup worked fine with TU16.
   3. The crash is silent (no error massage, just stuck).

Hey I have a big problem with EA FC 25 on PC. The game freezes on the splash screen with no sound and I have to force close it through Task Manager. My specs are Windows 10 Home version 19045 Intel Core i5-7400 CPU at 3.0GHz 16GB RAM and Nvidia GTX 1070. I’m running the game through Steam with EA Play and the EA App opens automatically. I have played the game fine for over a week and have logged 20+ hours. This isn’t a trial it’s the full game. Suddenly without any changes it started freezing on the splash screen. The EA App starts the game and then closes like usual but the game hangs there. Task Manager shows FC25 using about 30% CPU and 1.5GB RAM when frozen. What I’ve tried so far repairing FC25 and EA App repairing Anti-Cheat reinstalling Visual C++ packages from 2005 to 2022 reinstalling Nvidia drivers cleanly turning off all overlays EA Steam Nvidia Discord running CCleaner to clear caches and registry stuff clearing EA App cache running the game as admin launching from both Steam and EA App verifying game files on Steam unplugging all USB devices except mouse and keyboard making a new Windows user account and trying from there trying safe mode turning off firewall and antivirus and checking that Secure Boot is on. Nothing has worked so far. I also deleted the fc25trial.exe file after reading about it but no luck. Also I have an Evolution card in Ultimate Team that’s about to expire so I really want to get back to the game before losing it. Does anyone know if there’s a cache or config file somewhere that might be causing this? I’m super stuck and any help would be amazing. If any EA staff see this is there a way to fully reset FC25 and EA Play on my PC? Thanks a lot!

Well I switched it from D drive to C drive and then reinstalled the game and that seemed to work but I couldn’t play it a second time. So maybe it’s something related to the cache or local user settings. Cause right now it seems to work if you give it a fresh start

Try to uninstall and reinstalling the EA anticheat(do not choose "repair" options) ,it works for me and looks like it fix the issue.

Hey Stixy333, thanks for sharing so many details about what you have already tried!

If it doesn't get past the splash screen with the FC 25 Logo, there is a chance it's an Anti-cheat issue.
Go to C:\Program Files\EA\AC and run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe as an admin.
Once there, select FC 25, then Uninstall. After it's done, install it again and try launching the game.

You may also try going to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25 and delete Files and Folders named "settings" and "fcsetup".

If that didn't do it, try with a clean install of your graphics drivers (You should have an option when choosing the Custom (Advanced) install option)

If nothing worked, try a Clean Boot.

    Keep us posted!

In this case, please try uninstalling and reinstalling both the EA app and the game and try again.
If you want, you may try REVO uninstaller or CCleaner to do so; however, those are third-party tools, therefore at your own risk.

I'll leave some useful links with other stuff to try:
    - Check this forum post to see what worked for other users.
    - Use this Windows tool to fix problems with software on your PC
    - Repair Windows System files.

In the meantime, it would be useful to have your DxDiag.txt file together with your EA ID to check for other potential issues.
