FC25 Won’t Launch After Latest Windows Update (Steam + EA App Error)

I had the same issue. I fixed it by uninstalling one of the Windows updates related to .NET Framework that I installed on the 30th, specifically KB5064401.

Hey, just wanted to say a big thanks for your tip about uninstalling the Windows updates 🙏
I first tried removing only KB5064401, but the game still wouldn’t launch. After your comment, I went back and uninstalled all the updates from Aug 30th — and now FC25 works perfectly again! 🎉

Really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction — this will definitely help other people stuck with the same issue.
