Game slowing down

At every single set-piece or stop in play, the game just keeps slowing down and not registering what is being pressed. Playing the PS4-version of the game on a PS5.

Really annoying to lose the ball just because the game keeps slowing down and the players not doing the intended thing at the press of buttons!
