Kicked out of FUT Champs game due to high traffic

I had just started my first game of FUT Champs for the weekend and didn’t even get to kick off before receiving a message saying I had disconnected from the EA servers.  When I tried to get back in it said I was unable to access ultimate team at this time due to high traffic.  Eventually got back in but my champs game had been taken away.  I believe there may be some sort of compensation or replenishment of the games but you never know with EA.
