I have tried everything. Fully cleaned my ps5 it’s in the open I tried deleting and reinstalling the game but EVERY time I try to load into an ultimate team game my system overheats and turns off. This does not happen on any other game too. Tried online games like cod and fortnite and had no issues. ONLY with online ultimate team games does this happen. Please help

I have the same problem. I have to hold the ps button to go to the home screen for about 10 seconds between everything, after selecting start match, after starting second half, after going to or leaving objectives and sbcs. I spend most of the time on that home screen. It's frustrating, but it helps allow me to get through some games without this happening.

I have already contacted PlayStation support and was told to reach out to ea sports as it is more likely an issue with the game than my hardware. If I am unable to play ultimate team due to this I would like some reimbursement as I just purchased the premium season pass
Community ManagerOverheating is a hardware issue. I do recommend the professional clean as there are parts of the console that are very hard to reach without full disassembly. I will put the link for PlayStation Hardware support below in case you need it.
