when i load into a game i can not switch player no matter what the issue is.

i can switch between my players when i load into a game, i try LB and nothing happens i try right stick and nothing happens but my player starts to run on its own off the pitch. 

i have deleted the game in the past thinking its an issue that hasnt been sorted but ive started playing again around team of the year and its still happening, im not sure weather at this point its ea servers or its my pc 

can someone help me on this as its annoying as **bleep** to deal with, i cba to play a game with an issue ive had since the game came out.
