Why Does My PS5 Sound Like a Jet Engine Only in EA FC 25?

I’ve recently run into something strange with my PS5 that I thought might be worth sharing—and maybe getting some insights from fellow gamers.

My console is clean and well-maintained; no dust build-up, no blocked vents. It runs quietly on almost every game I play, even graphic-intensive titles. But the moment I launch EA FC 25, things change dramatically.

During in-game cutscenes, menus, or even short animations, the fans suddenly kick in at full force, sounding almost like a small jet engine ready for takeoff. The gameplay itself runs smoothly, and I haven’t experienced overheating or crashes. It’s just this annoying noise that shows up only in this game.

I’ve tried rebuilding the database, reinstalling the game, and checking for software updates—no luck.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something about how EA FC 25 is optimized on PS5? Or could it be related to the way certain menu screens push the GPU harder than the gameplay itself?
