will all my progress be safe?

i dident know about the risks of linking xbox accounts to ea and messed up really bad.
i unlinked my xbox account from my old ea account and connected it to my new ea account
i suddenly lost all my progress on all my ea games
so i tried to link it back and it said i have to wait six months
but even if i link it back in six months will that ea acccount have all its progress on FC25 AND PVZ GW2 etc or has all my years of work gone down the drain because of a simple mistake??
Please help me get my progress back ill do anything.
