Pack probabilities complaint/rant. It's long.
Since the start of Shapeshifters team 2, I have opened, rank 4 champs rewards, elite 1 squad battles rewards, 20 84x10 packs, easily over 100 varying squadshifters sbc packs, the team 2 upgrade sbc pack, and over 300 players picks. But can barely catch a whiff of the higher rated cards, I've had every 95 rated and below with around 40 dupes of those players. Plea, Périsset, Kohr, Nuno Tavares, and Souček 4 to 7 times each at least.
There are only 2 options here, the 96 rated and above cards have ridiculously low probabilities, but I've seen loads of people getting them from the same picks and packs. Another being that the chances from sbc packs are low, but again I've seen loads of people pulling 96 and above cards from the same packs.
So I have to wonder what is going on, I know I will only get the generic "you just got unlucky" response, but it's bs. Apparently, I'm extremely unlucky in almost every single promo that exists then. Honestly, it's mad that every year I have played ultimate team I've had the exact same experience. I would rather have less SBC packs with a higher chance of getting the higher rated cards than go through any experience like this again. I've used the store before but never will again, you'll get my money for the game and no more, if I even buy the next release.
On to my rant.
Your gameplay is just bad in general this year. Trashy broken mechanics that most people div 3 and above abuse over and over again to win, which you have seemingly refused to fix all year. Heavily delayed/sluggish gameplay in most games, needing to have playstyles for a basic pass, and innacurate ping at the start of games. The list goes on but you probably get my point.
Honestly, I can sit on the pre game screen with a solid 18 ping for 20 or 30 seconds, but the minute the game starts I'm jumping up to 70 (sometimes higher) and back down again. It's not my internet I've tested it multiple times and on multiple games, but this is the only game it happens on. I can play Rocket league, Fortnite, COD, GTA online, Marvel Rivals, R6 Siege, Destiny 2, and other EA games in Battlefield and Star Wars Battlefront 2 without this happening. You need new servers or more servers to handle your traffic. You also need a new game engine, frostbite wasn't desgined to have so many different animations pumped into it. You may have adapted it, but it's not fit for purpose and doesn't do the required job.
Honestly, at the current rate it is going I can see this game dying in 3 to 5 years. You have ridden on the coattails of your earlier titles for too long, and as loyal players we keep hoping the next title will be better, but somehow you keep making worse additions to the game, and making it worse than the year before.
I don't really care if you read this but I needed to vent as this game is seriously winding me up after all this time. Been playing since around FIFA08, started playing online around FIFA13, and I've bought and played every game each year, even if I only played online seasons for a couple of years. I've enjoyed so many hours on this game. In the last 6 or 7 years it's got bad, but in the last 2 or 3 years it's become horrendous. That's why I only actually play the game enough to get my rewards, do my sbc's, and then get off again as quickly as possible.
