The most fun promo…..just ruined

Futties is usually the funnest promo you do, you do packs and there is always a chance at a new card, I don’t know what you changed this week but it has totally ruined the experience for me and 3 others who play it, last week, we had a grind session, see who could pack new cards the fastest.

We packed every single 99, this week you’ve changed something and it’s totally ruined it for us, in the last 3 days between us we have packed 24 99 rated cards, every single one of them is a dupe from week 1……that’s right not a single week 2 99 has been pulled in over 3600 - 85x10’s and probably double that in 50 player packs if not more.

We have got to the point we don’t even say “futties” now when they walk out, we guess which dupe card it’s going to be.

If the game wasn’t ruined for us with gameplay, which is still shocking btw, it’s been truly and utterly ruined, we have genuinely stopped doing packs today, we actually all stopped player eafc to go and play Dayz because we were so bored with the game, if the idea was to bore us to death so we can’t wait for eafc26, it’s had the complete opposite effect, 2 of us have cancelled pre-orders for it, 1 is on the fence about cancelling it, and the last outright refuses to preorder it until he knows it’s better than this one.

Its August, they should be much easier to get, yeah you still need to grind some, but just based on the numbers, we are out, no more patience with this promo, and from what it seems, the actually company, I’ll leave you with this little piece of golden nugget, if your product is bad, it will stop selling, it’s only a matter of time before someone decides to rival eafc and if they come up with a decent model, based on the way we’ve all been treated over the years, the exodus will be vast, start listening to your consumers more.

    so you still crying? what do you want? get lost, find another game, you get every 99 card and still crying, which one are you missing?

    Funny how the only posts you seem to post on are the ones involving people grinding??, I’m merely stating this years futties is broken and way inferior to what it was last year, they have broken something this week and even grinding won’t get you them. But no you want so **bleep** on people who grind, probably because you’ve spent a **bleep** ton of money and still don’t have them??, but it’s ok my dude, you don’t need to listen, hell you don’t even need to respond, your not the demographic this post was targeted at clearly so you can be on your way. And go cry in the corner about all the money you’ve given EA for the shambles that is EAFC25.

    Personally won’t be doing it this year, I’m one who cancelled my pre order, I’ll be waiting for it to be free on game pass in May/June instead next year and maybe play it then, there is plenty of good games coming out between now and then, Gears, Resident Evil, COD and Battlefield, plenty to fill my boots.

    Actually, I try to help people across the forum—especially those dealing with bugs or gameplay issues. I’ve given advice to players struggling with defending, and I always try to be supportive when someone’s stuck.

    As for the grind, I do it too. But I’m not here complaining just because I didn’t get lucky. Right now, I’m only missing Cristiano Ronaldo, Gullit, and Bale. There are 14 99-rated players in packs, so if you already have most of them, it’s obviously harder to pack the few you're missing. I’m also missing Roberto Carlos, but he’s not even in packs at the moment. As for me, I only paid for EA Play so I could get the Season Pass. In a month I’ll go back to being a Showcase user. But yeah, I still regret spending that one dollar on EA Play lol.

    So yeah, it’s all about luck and timing. No need to act like the game’s broken just because the odds didn’t go your way this week.

    So the game is broken, has been all year, that’s not even up for discussion.

    I agree with you it’s about luck and timing, well it was last week, this week however something has changed, out of the 14 we have either half or less than half, out of the 36 packed 99’s this week between 4 of us, 36 have been dupes, Hansen being the most common.

    It all seem to have started when one of us got a debug* line on the main screen, it disappeared as quick as it came but ever since nothing, now we are all in the same house and all have accounts linked as we have 1 main and 3 sub systems, and it’s quite bizarre.

    If this is a bug would love to know how to fix it, but it’s totally ruined it for us, we’ve left the game as of yesterday, so won’t really make a difference now, but would love to know for next time, if indeed there is a next time, a couple of us are on the fence about ever returning.

    So at least for now, Caio 👋
