AI defenders have no brain- pls fix this
Why are AI defenders so bad this year? Why can every player suddenly turn into prime De Bruyne and just press X X or Triangle twice to break the defense? Okay, scoring goals is fun, but defending? How are we supposed to defend? Even pro matches end 5-4 or higher. That’s ridiculous. I hate this. Even with 4 defenders and 2 CDMs, it’s still impossible to defend.
For example, in this clip — what’s wrong with my Vidić? Where is he going? What’s inside his head? Some kind of mental issue? Is he looking for a beauty fan in the crowd maybe?
This is honestly the worst defensive gameplay in all FC/FIFA history.
Please fix the defending system.
AI defenders have terrible positioning and reaction times. They don’t track runs, they leave huge gaps, and player switching is still delayed. Defensive awareness and marking logic feel completely broken. Even with manual defending, the AI teammates just watch the ball instead of supporting.
We need an urgent fix for:
- AI positioning and marking logic
- Reaction delay when switching players
- Defensive line behavior after through balls
Defending should be skill-based, not luck-based. Please improve it before the game becomes pure chaos.
