What is this connection and gameplay?

I have severe lag and gameplay delay, even in menus sometimes. It all started after latest major update 2 or so weeks ago. I can't play, sometimes my players won't move without a 1-2 second delay. this is horrendous. i've spent money on EAFC Points i can't even use now since game is unplayable. Is there a patch coming to fix this or should i just uninstall this useless game now? I've tried it all with settings, i have a PC that can run the game on at least high settings and I've switched everything to low, used every trick i managed to find online, it's awful. I was playing without issues since December but whatever update this dev team pushed 2 weeks ago completely broke the game for me.
