Dear EA team, could you please make it possible to use the truly good "authentic gameplay" at least online in friendly matches? The "competitive mode" is simply too fast and there are far too many goals. We are an online community that values realism and not scoring as many goals as possible.
Please, please, add this with a patch as soon as possible.

Please please please do this. I just don't enjoy the pace of competitive at all and only play online against friends who also want the authentic mode.

Please let the online player use the authentic gameplay which will be much much fun when we play with other online players.
Couldnt agree more we should have an option just like in offline mode to have an option to toggle authentic in online modes! No one wants that competitive arcade trash online.
A lot of us who likes the realism would love to have that option to play authentic in online modes.

Could not agree more. Insane that this hasn’t been implemented. Even in Rivals matches, you could easily implement ‘sliders’ to choose between ‘Authentic’ or ‘Competitive’ opponents. At the very least, Seasons should have the option of ‘Authentic’ gameplay. Come on EA, excellent improvements but please implement them in the online modes

The speed is too fast, fake and unenjoyable, feels too much like cartoon, I just want to enjoy a proper footballing game.
If I want this much speed, I'll be playing car race 😭
