Build up passing

Whether I have my tactics on build up passing or classic whenever I hold a button down for just a split second more y’all make us pass to players who are offside or in the wrong position when there’s another player on my team only 3 feet away(which is a lot more convenient) that would allow me to score but no y’all make the guy pass to my player who is already offside😭😂please help EA everyone says this is the best EAFC in a while but idk.
