Constant Transfer Requests in Manager Career Mode

I’m a little over one season in on manager career mode and I’ve lost half my team to constant transfer requests. Players who are on the bench or in the reserves (despite having a rotation squad role) get upset, ask for a contract renewal, and then hand in a transfer request before I can do anything.

Even after renewing their contract, a few weeks pass and they hand in a transfer request. I’m about to lose my captain who starts every game? Ruins manager career. Playing on Xbox x.
