Some questions to kick things off: Did TOTY feel exciting and rewarding this year? Why or why not? Was it clear what content was coming and when? How did you feel about the daily content during the event? Did the objectives, SBCs, and Evos feel worth your time? If you could change one thing about FC 26 TOTY, what would it be? Did TOTY feel exciting and rewarding this year? Why or why not?Not at all. Impossible to pack any TOTY or HM cards. Was it clear what content was coming and when?Yes. Because of leaks.How did you feel about the daily content during the event?Awful. Worst ever TOTY since FIFA 12.

During the Team of the Year event in EA SPORTS FC 26, I opened more than 500 packs obtained exclusively through gameplay, including objectives, SBCs, Rivals, Champions (WL) and daily challenges.These packs included high-value rewards such as 10x83+, 20x82+, 3x88, 3x85, 2x86 and 10x84. Despite this very high number of packs and consistent participation throughout the event, I did not receive any TOTY or high-tier promotional items.This experience is in clear contrast with what is publicly shown by multiple content creators. For example, YouTube creator AuzioMF, with more than 931,000 subscribers, and others frequently demonstrate significantly better pack results when opening packs using FC Points (real money).This creates a strong perception that the reward system favors players who spend real money, while players who grind the game through objectives, Rivals and Champions are heavily disadvantaged. I completed all available objectives, played daily matches, Rivals and Champions consistently, yet the results remained unrewarding.This leads to the conclusion that the current rewards structure operates as a pay-to-win system, undermining fairness, competitiveness and player trust. I believe this issue deserves serious review, especially during major promotional events like TOTY.

Overall TOTY was extremely disappointing for a lot of players.TOTY cards were next to impossible to pack for a lot of people unless spending sometimes hundreds if not thousands. Even the HM cards were almsot impossible to pack from rewards or sbc packs, and no offence but they weren't even that good.SBC content was far too expensive for the average FC player, not to mention the fact that a lot of the high rated players needed were some form of promo card. I managed 1 icon sbc throughout the promo, and I had to be picky about which one because I knew they were all expensive and I wouldn't get the fodder needed.The objectives were mostly good and rewarding, but you could of done with less live events that lasted a bit longer for people who weren't able to play for a couple of days.If you pay attention to anything FC online it's next to impossible to miss leaks and what is coming out, so it's always clear what is coming, but occasionally the when can get confusing.Because of said leaks most of your content isn't exciting, people have days if not a week to prepare for what is coming.Evos were fairly decent, but the stat caps for an 88 rated card and so on seemed a bit low, especially around pace for this time of the year. Respectfully, it was far off of being something to be excited about, most days were just spent seeing nothing in packs and seeing a new sbc that you can't afford. If it wasn't for the fact I got one TOTY and 1 TOTY icon, I would have been quitting the game and deleting it. I get that there are reasons you have to push for people to use the store, but without the correct balance you are just pushing players away from the game.

After a few days the excitement had gone and it wasn't and still isn't feeling rewarding at allWas it clear what content was coming and when? Yes and no, leakers did more to tell us what was happening that the roadmap set by yourselves but you did roadmap some of it well.How did you feel about the daily content during the event? the gameplay content like live events, rush etc was good, could be a lot better but it was good. SBC's were poor, expensive and when all of the high rated golds aren't in packs why oh why is there 90 rated SBC's?Did the objectives, SBCs, and Evos feel worth your time? Objective I would give a pass, SBC,s were a fail and evo's are meh, I've no positive nor negative feeling towards them. If you could change one thing about FC 26 TOTY, what would it be? one thing?! Jeez!! Packability! Now that's not make all the blues easy to pack but if you are making SBC's 90 rated and all the high rated gold are effective gone as they aren't in packs we are checkmate/snookered. We need to be able to get the high rated cards, so drop honourable mentions from the start or make sure the drop rate is good enough or remove the ratings in sbc's.

The problem for TOTY is the expectation levels. YouTubers and influencers play a large part in this. Their content shows them getting TOTY after TOTY, whereas the reality is that the absolute majority of users will not pack a single one. And not just this year, but for many years. My 13 year old son and I have played the game for five years (small fry compared to some, I know) and this year was the first year that we actually got a TOTY (Pedri). A guy in a group I use, has played for 10+ years and never had a TOTY. There's nothing wrong with making TOTY cards really rare, but it appears that YouTubers and influencers get an abnormal amount of 'pack luck' compared to the rest of us.
