You hit the nail on the head with this, but I think particularly where the game feels predetermined far too often and I find it at levels all the way down to making tackles; where players will suddenly leap forward without any loss of ball control to avoid a perfect line I had on them.

And shielding is massively overpowered without any corresponding method of breaking it down; which is not how it works in the real world either. It's easily one of the worst issues in the game right now.
