Feedback on Player Career Mode: Striker PlayStyle (+) Archetype Distribution
Dear EA SPORTS FC Development Team,
I am writing to share feedback regarding the Personality Archetype PlayStyle distribution in Player Career Mode for EA SPORTS FC.
Specifically, regarding the Striker (ST) progression tree:
- Power Shot (+) & Acrobatic (+): Currently, placing Power Shot (+) and Acrobatic (+) primarily under the Virtuoso archetype feels mismatched with traditional football archetypes and the mode's own descriptions.
- Power Shot (+) and Acrobatic (+) represent pure athleticism, explosive power, and instinctual goalscoring—traits that define a Maverick (or finisher) rather than a Virtuoso (who focuses on technical elegance, vision, playmaking, and tight control).
- Swapping Power Shot (+) and Acrobatic (+) to the Maverick progression path for strikers would align much better with player expectations and overall role authenticity.
- Virtuoso Alignment: Virtuoso strikers should instead focus on PlayStyles that emphasize touch, finesse, vision, and technical flair (such as First Touch (+), Finesse Shot (+), Technical (+), or Incisive Pass (+)).
I hope you consider adjusting these PlayStyle assignments in upcoming title updates or future installments to refine the Player Career Mode experience.
