Forced movements

When attempting to defend after switching players the game is automating my defender to attack when I am literally pressing LT to defend laterally but the game automates animation of a giant huge step allowing the attacker to easiy dribble around me because my player just jumps right past the attacker with absolutely no chance of making a tackle,  it is a completely forced error on the computers part.  This is also true in a loose ball when trying to run to the balll it will not allow mme to move it just automates me in a bee liine sprint towards the ball not allowing me to position myself in anticipation o the opposing attacker even though it is beyond obvious i can not get to the ball before the opposing team but yet it still forces me to run full sprint to a already defeated position.  My controls are on manual switching no assistance so it is literally not registering manual control.  It is only manual until the game decides to animate me and automate me and even switches my player in close proximity to an attacker who lloses posession except I did not gain posession so it should not swtich to me but it does and then I am not in position to make a defensive play and the opposing team just walks right by.  This is such a bad game that is very bad gameplay and forced animations and automations while claiming I am in full control and I am not and it is costing me literally I would say almost half the games are lost from these forced errors not permitting me to control my players.
