I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding a chronic issue within EA Sports FC 26 that is severely impacting the integrity of the competitive experience.
I have repeatedly encountered a glitch where opponents exploit the system to avoid a loss. When they are losing, instead of quitting through the official in-game menu, they either disconnect their Wi-Fi or abruptly close the game application via the console dashboard.
The Issue:
Instead of awarding the win to the player who remained in the game (and was leading), the match is treated as if it never happened. No win is recorded, contracts are wasted, and most importantly, the time and effort invested in the match are completely disregarded.
Impact:
- Competitive Integrity: This exploit allows "poor losers" to manipulate their records and prevents honest players from progressing.
- Global Reach: This is not an isolated incident. It is a well-known, chronic issue discussed by the global community, yet it remains unaddressed.
- User Experience: This creates a toxic environment and causes significant distress and "mental anguish" to players who simply want a fair game.
As a dedicated player, I expect a system that can distinguish between an intentional "hard crash/disconnect" by a losing player and a legitimate connection error. A win should be granted to the remaining player if the opponent leaves while trailing or during a tie under suspicious circumstances.
I request that you look into my account history and investigate these "null" matches. Furthermore, I urge the development team to prioritize a fix for this exploit to restore fairness to FC26.
