It’s time to quit
Honest Feedback – This Game Is Not Fun Anymore
I’m honestly done with FC26 at this point. I’ve played this series for years and this is the first time the game feels completely out of my control. Every match feels like I’m fighting some hidden system rather than another player.
I’m convinced there’s some form of DDA/engagement tuning going on. You can call it “momentum” or “randomness,” but the way players suddenly stop responding, tackles bounce straight back to the attacker, and rebounds fall perfectly to the same person over and over… it doesn’t feel natural. It feels forced. And it happens far too consistently to be “just randomness.”
The whole thing feels scripted. Some games I can’t miss, the next game my players move like they’re stuck in mud. That’s not gameplay — that’s the game deciding who should win to keep people in that 50/50 cycle.
And pack luck? You call it “random,” but it’s obvious the odds are weighted based on engagement. You can literally feel when the game is pushing you to open more. It honestly feels more like a modern gambling app than a football game at this point.
The constant promos, the insane gap between casual players and people who drop money — it’s mentally draining. I don’t even feel excited playing anymore. I feel tense and annoyed before the match even starts.
I’m quitting because it’s not enjoyable. It’s not football. It’s not competition. It’s a frustration loop disguised as a game, and it feels like every part of it is tuned to keep people spending instead of actually having fun.
Just being honest — this year pushed me over the edge. If the gameplay team doesn’t stop relying on these hidden mechanics and engagement-based systems, a lot more people are going to walk away too.
