Save Player Career Avatar for Manager Mode Recruitment
I’ve been a loyal player of this series for years, transitioning over from the PES franchise when I moved to the PS4. After spending time with EA SPORTS FC 26, the core issue remains that the different Career Mode systems are entirely disconnected.
The single biggest immersion-breaker is the inability to bring a detailed, personalised player into a Manager Career save.
The Problem: Two Broken Creation Systems
"Create Player" (Manager Mode Tool): This lets us manually set stats like 5\star Skill Moves and 5\star Weak Foot, but the resulting player lacks a custom avatar and cannot be assigned PlayStyles. This system is functionally obsolete.
Player Career Mode: This mode allows for a custom avatar and lets the player develop with PlayStyles and progression, but that player is locked to that save and cannot be used in a separate Manager Career save.
The Proposed Solution: The "Save Player Avatar" Feature
I strongly request a feature to bridge this gap, allowing us to recruit a custom player we have developed:
Save/Export Player: When creating a custom player for Player Career Mode, a prompt should appear: "Save Player Avatar for use in Manager Career?"
Free Agent Deployment: When starting a new Manager Career save, the user should be given an option to "Include Saved Custom Players."
Player Availability: The saved avatar should then appear as a Free Agent at the start of the Manager Career save.
This would solve several major community complaints at once:
Avatar Consistency: We finally get a custom-faced player in Manager Career.
PlayStyle Depth: The custom player now comes with the modern PlayStyle features, rather than being a generic collection of stats.
Offline Storytelling: Managers can now scout and sign their own customised 'future star' from the free agents list, just as older games allowed for offline custom player management.
Please consider implementing this feature. It is a necessary step to bring the quality of the offline career experience up to the standards that players have expected for years. Thank you for listening
