Josh McEwen “I think you saw in the first half an hour that the players were still trying to get used to what they have been asked to do. We played a system that I think is well suited to the team we obviously made some tweaks and if I’m being perfectly honest there are still some things we want to change in order to get the most out of our attacking players but we went a goal down we were under a lot of pressure and the team reacted perfectly and fought back for a valuable point.”
Scott Parker “I thought we were superb in the first half and I thought we could have been a couple of goals up at half time but in the second half we seemed to take our foot off the gas a little bit and invited Wolves back into the game and we’ve been punished for it. I think you could probably see in the later stages of the second half no team really wanted to lose the game and we cancelled each other out but we are disappointed because I felt we deserved more from the game.”

Josh McEwen “I thought the way we played today was admirable, we are obviously so disappointed to lose the game on penalties but to play a top team like Chelsea and probably over the course of 90 minutes have the best chances is disappointing to lose but we will dust ourselves off and focus now turns fully to the league. We disappointed with the red card obviously its a silly challenge to make when on a yellow card but I think it is a very harsh second yellow
Enzo Maresca “Cup games are about winning and finding a way to win and today we had to rely on penalties but we are into the next round. We didn’t play our best game but we go to the quarter finals, it is never easy to play away and I think Wolves were very organised defensively but I thought we controlled most of the game we just struggled to create that killer chance.”
