[CM Story] MáLaLiga - 2027 and onwards

Been casually reading over last few days initially thought had bit of a drop off from strong start then see how close it is and seems you've already had most of the teams above you so a good strong finish is in the making.  Think I almost crashed out like your website with The Mbappe headline 🤣 thought maybe you were trying a new approach of go big or go home 🤣

Thanks, and good to see you back. I've been absent as well, didn't really touch FC25 for the last 6 months or so. Not very typical of me, as you're probably aware.

But not as un-typical as me signing Kylian Mbappé, I'll give you that. Nah, it was fun to bring the brother in and perhaps let a little brotherly rivalry be a story in the story. So far it's been a win for each in my head to heads with Real Madrid, but apart from that I can't really say he's been fit to lace his brother's boots so far. Kind of disappointing actually. Perhaps he'll improve, or else he'll just be a good business case, signing him for about half his market value at the time...

Ironically after a drop off I played 25 right til the end, I think backing away from in depth stories got me enjoying them again, I enjoyed writing CMS but with my lack of free time I was holding up the game til I could update thread etc. Maybe if/when my job calms down again I may get back to it, but been really enjoying CM again.  Did a 10 season stint with Spurs after a live start from end of Jan transfer window up til the release of FC 26 and now one with Blackpool which has been bat **bleep** crazy and really wish I had time for a CMS.

Anyways,  happy to see other stories going on much easier catching up on a read

I'm actually struggling to enjoy CM without a story going with it. Just some kind of attention to progress, perhaps some club records to chase etc. Can't find the same enjoyment without the story, I'm afraid. Doing a quick update for every 3 or 4 games works fine for me at the moment. 10 seasons with Spurs sounds like a long one. I usually hit the wall somewhere between season 7 and 9 and call it a day.

Chuoete really proved them doubters wrong in January there were calls for him to be dropped to end with 21 goals lets hope Malaga can keep him. A fifth placed finish is absolutely superb as well as a final in Copa Del Rey it will be interesting what happens this summer the club will need to strengthen so that it can compete on two fronts with the Europa League games also being taken into consideration how much will they invest though.

Yes, he really did, Chupete. More goals than the Player of the Season Kylian Mbappé. I hope I can keep him too, but I also have Marc Domènech standing by, both top scorer and top assister in the cup. He's mostly started on the bench or on the wing in league games and could benefit from more action in the number 9 spot. But with Europa League action ahead, he could also be the main man there, whilst Chupete continues to be trusted in La Liga. If they both stay...

In regards to new potential signings; I haven't got anything lined up yet, as I'm actually quite happy with the current squad. My "best 11" is pretty young with potential to grow, and among my backups I have both academy graduates and more experienced club players. Some are closing in on 200 appearances for the club, meaning they are among the top 10 - if my above mentioned records are correct. So I don't really have a very great desire to change too much ahead of the new season. But maybe a big sale or something else will force my hand. We'll see.
