Another year. Another broken game released

Déjà vu? Nope. Just standard practice again from EA. Surely there must be some governance on releasing something broken and charging an annual astronomical amount for the right to play?

Now im just a casual player now days. Only really play seasons and have a blast against other likeminded folk. Which I know is by far not a priority against the cash cow in which is FUT. But considering I’m a paying customer. I expect a game mode that hasn’t been altered or given attention since FIFA 12. To work at my pleasure. We’ll start with before even a ball is kicked. The formations. Now like everyone. We all have our own way of playing. I like a specific formation to play to my strengths. I can’t even change my formation. I go to the tactics section. Set everything up to my liking. Select ‘save changes’ then back out. In full expectation that my team is ready to go into battle. But it doesn’t. It reverts back to default. I then go back in to change it again. And my newly created setup is there. So I click ‘save changes’ again and back out. Back to default again. 
seeing as seasons is considered a low priority. And presuming this issue isn’t a problem in ultimate team. I don’t expect this issue (which I’ve seen many others complain about) to be resolved anytime soon as seasons isn’t monetised. 
I find it very frustrating that every year bugs like this across all formats of gameplay exist. And extremely unfair that because it’s not a monetised mode on the game it won’t get attention from the developers. 

Another issue. Which might be me not adjusting or capable of getting used to. Is the defending. The standing tackle seems more of a disability button than a defensive one. Defenders having seizures instead of going for the ball. Attackers and pace just leave defenders all at sea. Close games just don’t seem to exist anymore and its goals galore. Same with me when I’m on the attack. You can see the opponent struggling with the extreme pace. 
when EA released their annual slogan ‘we listened to you’. I want to know who exactly they listened to?! A 12 year old who just uses the R2 button and wiggles the right stick? 
This is either just the usual honest mistakes from EA. I say honest loosely. Instead of clambering for a game release each year. Why not release a new title every 2 years? With a paid update in between? Get the game right. It’s absolutely preposterous that every single year this game gets put out there incomplete and charging a higher fee than the previous title. 

That’s my view on things. I know it’ll fall on deaf ears as usual. I’m just annoyed that a game. In which I’ve owned every annual title since its incarnation in 1993. Has fallen so far when it was on a huge upward trajectory in yesteryear. It’s 2025 and the level of the game should be mind blowing
