Authentic online?

It looked like it says online will be arcade and offline modes like career mode will be realism. While it gave examples of online as ultimate team and clubs it never said what category seasons fell into. I suppose we will have to wait for each deep dive to really know. 

Yeah, hopefully they will let us people who doesn’t like the craziness that is FUT etc still have something to play online. Will be a pass for me if it’s arcade all the way online. 

While I like fut I wish it was realistic. I am not sure why they didn’t actually offer two versions for every mode. To me they are going to force people who want realism to either play offline or quit playing. Unless I am misunderstanding it but it looks like online is arcade and offline is realism. 

I never understood this arcade vs realistic, ideally online and offline should feel more or less the same game.

They're are adding tournament back into ultimate team so i would be shocked if they don't do at least a themed event where the settings are set to authentic gameplay. But aside from that im guessing majority of the Ultimate team game modes online will be "arcady" 

yea its just another quick fix and not focusing on fixing core gameplay. I do think this good for career mode players because they gameplay there proposing is awful for online and ea keep catering toward that. So at least with this they can now solely focus on UT gameplay

I am thinking the following.

Seasons and UT always was the same gameplay. Difference is UT has hugely boosted stats and special cards etc... which always made it look like on x2 speed compared to Seasons with stock stats (or inform/out of form stats).

I am also wondering if the new online play is going to be similar to FC25 after the December new year game refresh. Faster, slicker gameplay and higher scoreline. Let's not forget that before December it wasnt uncommon for a game to only have 1 or 2 goals and after it wasnt uncommon for between 5 and 10 goals in a game.

So, I am wondering if FC26 online will just be FC25 game refresh gameplay?

Everything was quicker after that right?

I will be hugely upset if Seasons is full of complete unrealistic gameplay and types of goals and defending etc... I do not want to see stupid skills everywhere pulling off perfectly. Goals being scored from everywhere like those daft trivela long shots. Silly things like bicycle kick goals non stop etc... That will make me put the pad down and move over to UFL or eFootball.

EA better not screw Seasons up just to please the unrealistic Ultimate Team crowd.

EA might also be saying they have been listening. BUT don't forget those who have just got on with the game and played it without comments. Still a small crowd moaning like mad.

It was chemistry that made it faster. If you look at the trailer they are removing the delay for instant button presses so removing things like needing to control the ball. This will allow for instant passes and shots. I assume things like those lazer 30 yard trivela and fitness shots that were like bullets that had to be nerfed. Now those will be back maybe. 

But the trailer showed they are actually increasing pace and ping pong passing for online not just chemistry. 

So while ut chemistry will still make it faster if seasons is now arcade it will play more like ut just minus the extra boost from chemistry. 

I meant a combination of the delay pitch notes and trailer showing the changes. But yeah ut and maybe seasons will all be arcade. Then offline will be realistic gameplay where you will need to control the ball and have slower and no ping pong passing with lower scores like pre refresh patch. 

I will lose my mind if this goes back to FIFA of old where lofted through balls, Finesse shots and Trivela shots fly in. As long as these are still balanced then it won't be too bad.

Also, Passes better still go a stray at times. If every pass is perfect people will be moaning that they don't get possession. I genuinely feel that Seasons is going to be ruined because of Ultimate Team. Most Seasons players do NOT want UT gameplay.

IF - THE GAME PLAYS LIKE CURRENT FC25 I DONT MIND THAT.

Another concern is if the game starts to repay people who don't think or understand football. I hate it when people get rewarded for unrealistic patterns of play and exploits.
