Did FC 26 Fix All Issues or Just the Major Ones?

Well, we all saw the trailer showcasing some of the issues from FC 25 and how they’ve been improved.

But that’s not enough, because there are other problems that weren’t mentioned — and maybe even some minor ones that still exist in FC 26 and were ignored.

That’s why this topic is being raised: to emphasize that FC 26 should be as perfect and bug-free as possible.

So what are the issues that might be overlooked by everyone? Let’s list them:

1. Offside and referee decisions issue

There’s a problem with the offside system: when the ball is passed to an attacker who’s in an offside position, even if he doesn’t touch the ball yet, it’s still counted as offside!

Even if the player tries to move away from the ball, the offside is called immediately without giving enough time for him to receive it and then judge the situation.

2. Invisible players issue

We still see invisible players often, especially in Clubs mode. This issue still exists and we don’t know if it has been fixed or not yet.

3. Linesman issue in Clubs mode

In Clubs mode, sometimes the third linesman is missing or invisible. And during halftime cutscenes, you see the three referees — but the third one is extremely small, like an ant.

4. Goalkeeper can't get red-carded in Clubs mode

In Clubs mode, when you play as a goalkeeper and deliberately rush out to foul opponents over and over again, you still won’t get a red card — no matter what. That’s because there’s no proper player-substitution system.

Also, in the trailer we saw that in Rush mode, there’s a new feature where you can play as a goalkeeper — so this raises the question:

If a goalkeeper fouls a player in that mode, will he be sent off? Will he get a blue card?

And if he does, who becomes the next goalkeeper?

Will it be like in Clubs mode where goalkeepers basically can’t be sent off at all?

These are important points that need to be discussed.

5. Ultimate Team bug — goalkeeper walking with fans

In Ultimate Team, there’s a cutscene where the goalkeeper appears walking through the crowd as if he’s one of them — this needs to be fixed.

6. Post-goal freeze bug in Ultimate Team

Sometimes in Ultimate Team, after a player scores, the match resumes while the scorer is still stuck in a goal celebration cutscene — which gives the opponent a chance to score before the player regains control of his team.

7. Score display glitch in Clubs and Ultimate Team

In both Clubs and Ultimate Team, there’s a visual glitch where goals aren’t counted properly for a certain period, or the score suddenly disappears mid-match.

8. Flair passes not shown or improved

Flair passes (fancy passes) weren’t shown at all in the trailer, and they were terrible in FC 25 — just like the rest of the passing system.

So were they improved? Were any new flair passes added?

We still don’t know — and the trailer didn’t mention this at all.

9. Long balls and crosses missing in trailer

Throughout the entire trailer, we didn’t see any crosses or long passes — it was mostly just ground passes.

There was only one lobbed pass behind the defense.

So this raises questions:

Have crosses, long through balls, and long passes in general been fixed?

This definitely needs answers too.

10. Goalkeeper controls and behavior

We saw improvements in goalkeeper decision-making and a reduction in deflection goals.

But what was ignored is whether players can still control the keeper using L3 like in FC 24?

Also, if you press the triangle button once, then hold it the second time — will the keeper come out to the edge of the box to intercept crosses?

We still don’t know if this has been improved or not.

11.Cheaters and Cross-play

The issue of cheaters is well known, but it has been ignored — has it been fixed or not? Will cross-play remain, or will it be removed? Well, if it stays, what's the solution for dealing with cheaters? Are you going to say "just disable cross-play"? That won’t stop cheaters from topping the leaderboards, which affects fair play. Also, it would cause problems with matchmaking in general, along with many in-game errors that happen when cross-play is disabled.

That’s why these matters need clear answers — and proper solutions as well.

12. The ball curve with the right foot is higher than with the left foot.

Players who use their right foot tend to get more curve when passing or shooting, unlike players who use their left foot. You can clearly notice and confirm this issue specifically during corner kicks. All you need to do is try to bend the ball toward the goalkeeper as much as possible. First, test it from the right corner of the pitch, then from the left corner — using a player whose preferred foot is the right. Then repeat the same with a left-footed player. You will clearly notice that the curve from the right-footed player is much more significant — especially when the corner is taken from the opposite side of their preferred foot. You’ll see that the ball’s curve remains strong. In contrast, the left-footed player’s curve is noticeably weaker under the same conditions.

13. The Problem with the Player Communication System in Clubs mode and Rush

The player communication system in modes like Clubs or Rush is really bad. It causes weird animations to appear while running with the ball—I don’t want to see a player sprinting while putting his hands on his head, or constantly spamming that kind of movement.

Another issue is that some players abuse this system as a glitch to run faster or recover faster on defense, compared to players who aren’t using it. That’s why it should either be fixed or completely removed, and replaced with the old system from FIFA 23 and FIFA 22.

14. Player boots in Clubs mode

What about the issue with player boots in Clubs mode? Has it been fixed? Did they finally add ankle tape? What about the skill games problems in Clubs? The free kicks? The camera bugs?

There are so many unanswered questions that still need clarification.
