You're absolutely right - when I get annoyed with FC, I go play another game. I'm choosing to change the way I interact with something that I don't find as enjoyable as I once did.
There's a good saying "poop or get off the toilet". In other words, if you're not going to do something about it stop complaining about it. You have options. You can stop playing and show EA with your wallet. Or you can take a different approach if FC is something you really like but just get frustrated with. I'm right there with you, this game infuriates me. . .I don't feel like it justifies the time I put into it. The rewards are crappy, the duplicates are so frustrating (with Heros and Icon packs you waste your hard earned fodder on).
My suggestion is that if you don't continue to beat your head against the wall you're not going to make your headache worse. If you take a break, go do something else. . and come back to it in a few days. . hours, whatever. . . your frustration level will be lower and your tolerance for the BS in this game will allow you to enjoy it a little more than you currently are. You can also stop playing entirely. . .or you can just keep being upset and letting a video game affect your day.
The game is getting more and more predictable. You know out of cpu very early in the match if you are going to win or loose. Boring!
I think this is because matchmaking is so poor as well. I know in the first few minutes if its going to be a good game, I'm going to destroy them, or I'm going to get destroyed. The issue is, I don't know what I'd prefer. . . when every game is a "good game" we call it a sweat fest and its too hard and not fun. When we get destroyed its BS and matchmaking sucks. When we destroy someone WE enjoy it, but the other person is saying its BS and matchmaking sucks, lol.
I don't think I would want involved with making video games in todays world. You will never please everyone. . for everything you fix, someone else is pissed. Every exploit is found out because you have so many players. Hence, my other comments about just trying to enjoy the things I enjoy with the game and when I get annoyed, I go play something else for a bit. When those games annoy me, I come back to FC, lol.
