EAFC CPU too easy

There is such a difference in the CPU gameplay between FC25 and FC26. In FC25, the CPU was very challenging, with legendary being the normal setting I’d use. In FC26 it is just too easy, I use Ultimate difficulty, and CPU sliders upto 99, and use usual competitive mode (Authentic is too slow). please tell me something will be done to fix this?

the CPU hardly does any skills, crosses, or through balls for shots. They just seem to always turn back on themselves.

i am hoping this is just a bug that will be fixed in an update as i am just getting bored. Being Newcastle and winning the league and champions league in first season is just unrealistic because the gameplay is so easy. WHAT HAPPENED? I feel this is a ploy to get the user to play ultimate team or online, which I prefer not to do. I enjoy career mode, and playing CPU
