EAFC26 Disconnects UT (PC)

EA and disconnects go together like bread and butter. So I have been experiencing disconnections from EA servers consistently for about a month. On the rare occasion I am able to finish a match, but more often than not I get booted from the servers back to main menu typically occurring at the very beginning or end of a match (regardless of in-match results). After a lot of digging online I discovered some people found that a VPN is a workaround the issue; I gave that a try and sure enough it worked, I stopped disconnecting. Now, the gameplay is absolutely unbearable, the VPN gives such a tremendous amount of delay to a game that already usually has input delay so you can imagine how unplayable it is. I guess my question is if anyone has experienced this or something similar? And if so, besides the VPN solutions, is there anything else that can solve the problem? Which seems to be a sudden routing issue between the EA servers and my ISP apparently.
