FC 26 Technical & Gameplay Grievance

Formal Complaint: Regression of Skill Gap and Logic Failures in Title Update 1.4.3

To the EA Sports FC Development Team,

I am writing this as a dedicated player to address the decline in gameplay integrity following the latest update. While intended to fix specific shooting mechanics, this patch has effectively broken the fundamental logic of football.

  1. The Lobotomized Defensive AI (The "Statue" Glitch) The deliberate nerfing of defensive reaction times has transitioned from "skill-based manual defending" into "negated reality." Central defenders are literally deactivating during transition phases—frequently pausing for 0.5–1.0 seconds when a through ball is triggered. This isn't "offensive freedom"; it is a forced handicap that creates "Basketball FC" scorelines. If a player is out of position, they should be penalized via stamina for having to sprint back to recover, not by having their AI tracking logic entirely deleted.
  2. Precision Shooting vs. Assisted Imbalance Precision Shooting is currently a high-risk, zero-reward mechanic. In the current server state, the input window is too sensitive to survive even minor synchronization loops. Meanwhile, Assisted Shooting remains egregiously overpowered, magnetizing "upper-deck" curlers into the top corner with zero skill requirement. Why is the manual, more difficult mechanic being penalized with "corner flag" misses on sitters while the assisted "button mashing" is rewarded with heat-seeking missiles?
  3. The "Mud" Factor: Dribbling & Turning Nerf Left-stick dribbling has been effectively ruined in this build. Whether it is a conflict with the new stamina recovery code or server-sync incompetence, players now turn with a radius that feels like they are wearing cement boots. Nimble players like Mbappe and Vini have become unresponsive statues. For a game that markets "Total Control," the current inability to be nimble on the ball is a technical failure.

Fix the input integrity and restore the defensive tracking logic. We want a simulation that rewards skill, not a broken script that forces artificial parity.
