If you are being put in a server far from where you live then this could be a routing issue but also important to keep in mind that connections are now much more advanced, I live across the world and regularly play with friends in Australia with out any issue regarding delays or lag.
A gold team dominating in-game can simply be the case where you are playing a really good player. I know players who can dominate a game with an all bronze team, FC 26 is a game of skill and some players are just that good.
When you check your IP address does it show you as being in Australia?

Way too many ^^ half of them i'm not alloud to speak about here ^^ matchmaking facing division 1 players everywhere while not beeing close to caring enough about this destruction of the sport i love is the worst right now ^^ defenders and midfielders not moving right unless you play 4411 and not beeing able to decide teamwidth is the 2nd. shooting works completly different in PVE vs PVP modes in ultimate team is nr3. passing beeing completely random is nr 4. goalkeepers acting like they barely started playing the sport and then making world saves when it's not near post is nr5 (just shoot at the keeper to score) every sbc player since 2 months is behind the power curve and so are players who didn't abuse your evo mistakes is nr6 (abuse or lose is still promoted by EA Sports rewarding players who get a "refund" after profiting from mistakes) players with less speed are faster is nr7 ^^ just all what i can come up with in 5 sec
The game is not just about skills EA_Darko! If it was - it would be the most perfect online game in the world, but it isn't! The game has so many other elements than just skills - and I belive you know this! Comments from you that this game is 100% skill-based just provoke peoples!
@ EA_Darko - dont mean to be a downer, but EA input delay is an irrepairable fix that EA is willing to address. My FC26 hasn't worked for months due to input delay. I have a very modern gaming system with a perfect connection, and the input lag most of every single time is atrocious. EA hasn't formally addressed the issue, just type in FC26 INPUT DELAY and you will see months on end complaints about the issue. Seems some people a few have a great connection and everyone else complaining is in screwed, like me. This wasn't the game I purchased when it worked at first before patches. I love this game, but I may have to cut my ties with EA because my favorite game doesn't work and I see that EA doesn't care. So sad for this input delay gameplay, how is the community expected to play rivals, champions, or competitive modes? This ish game doesn't work, tried everything short - I wish i could take my expensive gaming system to EA headquarters (down the street from my home in LA) and show them a true gamers experience with this game. Its kindly, FC for football crap.
Offside in your own half. Huge input delays. Random unstable connections/ lag. AI acceleration is faster when they run backwards than Usain Bolt can run forwards. Overall rating having nothing to do with a players ability. Playstyles being the only thing that actually matter.
There's a few things in your list I 100% agree on and thought it was just me. The passing can be over 90⁰ inaccurate and the shooting accuracy between rush, live and squad battles is just staggering.
