This really is almost unplayable atm... I cant for the world understand what EA is thinking... There is no way they actually play theyre own game. This is another level of bad.

I’m genuinely struggling to understand how a company with EA’s resources, budget, and history continues to ship systems that feel this unfinished, inconsistent, and poorly validated.

This isn’t about “losing a match” or “needing to adapt.” This is about core design and testing failures that would be obvious within hours of normal play.

Objectives are the clearest example. They routinely fail to track properly, or are so poorly balanced that they turn modes into chores instead of challenges

Which leads to the obvious question: who is validating this before release?

Because it clearly isn’t being stress-tested by people who play the game the way the community does. Either QA is severely underpowered, feedback is ignored, or deadlines are overruling basic functionality. None of those explanations are reassuring.

What’s most frustrating is that the potential is there. The engine, licenses, and player base are unmatched. And yet every year, avoidable issues resurface like they were never documented, never learned from, and never taken seriously.

Players aren’t asking for perfection.

We’re asking for:

Systems that work as described

Objectives that respect our time

Testing that goes beyond “does the store menu work”

And design decisions that feel intentional, not accidental

Right now, FC 26 feels less like a polished sports title and more like a live internal build that the community is paying to debug.

Yeah I almost agreeing with you in everything you said. The one thing imma change is i feel like when they drop new live events those gameplays are so much better. I played rivals and fut champs i think last week and the gameplay was awful my ai runs were so bad my ai defenders just watch the opponent walking through my defending line. I switched to live events for some pack/objectives. I guess it was gauntlet. My worst team where i got like 15-30-50k players made better runs and made better interceptions than my 1mill plus players. Idk hows that possible my 96 pajor and 95 hansen running into the defenders while rating reload antony making 100x better runs. My gold defenders made more interceptions and tackles than inform van de ven with like 5 meta evo. So idk what is this. And yeah i dont know how a billion dollar company can release these type of patches like right now finesses are literally bugged or i can talk about the visual bugs too. When the corner kicks were bugged with the trophies they needed a month to remove that and after they removed it even worse visual bug happened where the whole stadium were on orange fire or idk what was that. It feels like they not even trying to test it before they release these patches. I think all the playerbase can confirm that the first 3-4 weeks were sooooo good i actually thought this year everything will change and then this happened…

You are both right. FC 25 and 26 have to be the worst sports games ever released.

The development-team seems completely incompetent, the testers are non existent or dont test anything more than 5 minutes. The management constantly seems to lie and the support doesnt care or give a s..t about their customers and the problems with this bs game.

i work decades in software development, but this here is absolutely next level and a smaller company would not survive this next level dogpoop releases.

It just dont resemble football anymore it is simply just the worst game I have ever played , good job im not a professional player that's in this game I'd sue your **bleep** for making me play like this just awful 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I mean i  dont think we are even playing ea26 anymore this is like the end of 25 gameplay and that was dreadful
