Genuinely what is wrong with this game?

Do you support a football team?

If so, seriously... play as them on Seasons mode. That rubbish you are experiencing on Ultimate Team is exaggerated due to boost cards that send the game in to a frenzy and is part of the issues you are having with stupid rainbow flick goals and other rubbish.

I'd totally recommend coming away from Ultimate Team and taking a team on Seasons mode and try and make Div1 and attempt to win the title and stay there. Seasons Cup Mode is also open this weekend.

Do you play tactically?  Do you try and play strategic?  What is your philosophy? 

I totally recommend people stop playing Ultimate Team. It is arcade and everything that is wrong with the game. I keep saying this.

Yeah, I support Blackburn. For the past 2 years i’ve been doing clubs or career mode because of how bad ultimate team has been. I’ve played fifa since fifa 14 and it’s not improved once. My personal favourite game mode was the journey, i’d want something like that back in the game but i know they’d find a way to ruin it. 

I have tactics in ultimate team but tbh it never makes a difference for me, i can’t say i'm a die hard of the game, i’m in div 6 and only play when my friends are on. It just annoys me how the game is, and the people you go against are the ones ruining it too. I hate people that play the way EA have designed the game, also people who celebrate. so annoying.

You should try playing Online Seasons and use a stock team with hase attributes. They go up and down based on real world results and form. Much more realistic than UT. More tactical and more fun in my opinion. None of that boosted cards etc...

You should give it a go and see what Division you can get to. Also, cup mode is open this this weekend too.
