Experiencing something very similar since the update. Passing is hit or miss. Not necessarily direction but weird power and very slow animations. Even switched to semi for ground passes, which did somewhat help with direction but not the power issue. Also, when I L1 pass, the passer rarely makes the run anymore.
First touches are nonexistent for me now, regardless of play style. Takes ages to bring the ball under control most of the time.
Left stick dribbling seems to be completely different.
Like you guys said though, it doesn't seem to affect my opponents in the same fashion. I'm not lost on the fact there are more hackers this year but since the update every match has been like this.
Very strange update.
