Is there any point in having this forum?

I know it might seem that they are not getting involved with us at times but I guarantee you they are making notes of what the biggest talking points are on here.

They are quicker to get involved as soon as someone names and shames a cheater or if a specific account issue is being raised. But, they definitely see what is being discussed on here.

I get that people don't feel the engagement but they are in a non win situation. If they respond they might get typo attacked. If they don't they will get slated for not responding. But, they definitely see what is going on.

Now, in terms of peoples issues, requests and other. That is down to the wider team. From my point of view, I want the game to stick to simulation. I can deal with competitive gameplay in terms of speeding up player movements and animations. Obviously within reason. Too fast would look stupid. But right now it seems fine to me. I want realistic goal types. That stupid flick and scissors goal needs removed.

I want any form of BS cheap goals gone for good. I want it to be about the football being played that wins. I don't care if you defend all game and win 1-0. I am happy for all types of football whether it be pass pass, crosses, long balls, whatever as long as it is balanced and plays fair.

I just want football. I mostly get it to be fair because I attempt to play football and it can actually be achieved. I understand some people are struggling with delays etc... and that sucks.

I am a football purist and hate playing people who either try and skill all game long or try stupid chipped passes constantly or whatever. I will play to frustrate them if and when I take the lead. I just like a solid game of football... Win, lose, or draw.

I love tactical battles with others and strategic play.

But anyways. They do listen. Even if it appears they don't.

You make some good and fair comments. If they do take notes and listen to what's said on here, why are there still issues in the gameplay that have been ongoing for some time? When you say "Wider team" you mean EA?  

I don't honestly mind these kids that do flicks and spins and stuff, that's something that works for them. I'm a pensioner (honest !) and I just like to play the game, i don't do all the fancy stuff, and I do not have a problem when I lose (which is often)  

It's really frustrating that something like tactics not saving and randomly positioning your players, has not been addressed. 

If they do listen, then I feel it would be helpful if there were more interaction than we currently have. Having nothing in reply does feel like being ignored.

This is factually not always true. For EA as a whole (not just FC).. There is post in these threads going back years of glitches that are still in their games. Past year(s) they used the normal holding language whereas they say they are looking into it and hope to see an update in further games however next year it is still there.. 

You post on it for the next game(s) and they stop even giving holding language and ignore the post. 

It's trends like this that make it hard to say they do look at all the issues and only the ones that matter to their bottom line (the gambling card mode). 

EA  only care about  profit and thats it the amount of money i spend on this game i get nothing out of it every special card i have plays like a standard gold card the game is a scam

I think the first thing they look at is what is the biggest issues in terms of showstoppers for the game that would render it broken. Then you have exploits and glitches which then will be a priority.

After that they will look at what the community discuss and whether it is justified.

There are plenty of things that do need fixing. Tactics and player position bugs do exist for sure. Replay stuck on centre circle needs fixing. Cheap scoop up in to scissor kick goals need fixing.

Id still like to see skill moves nerfed further. I just don't want it in the game if it's not physically possible in the real world. Skills should be possible but more error required. Sure it's a game but it's supposed to be simulation.

So there are plenty of things to fix and touch up on for sure.

blue166​  I really miss fifa.. When you could build up your game from behind. Now it's just a ping-pong game. Far away from realistic football. Very sad to experience what the greate EA sports have done to this beautiful game. 

Ultimate Team has destroyed this game and what players think football is.

There is a more general problem with EA responding to issues promptly when they arise. They take way too long to fix bugs or push updates. Take the camera panning to the center circle, for example. That bug should be a quick and easy fix and yet it's been in the game for literal weeks. Even if they see and acknowledge bugs as they appear, they don't fix them in a timely fashion.

And it's not just EAFC 26, btw. EA has 4 studios working on and running Battlefield 6 (and another working on RedSec) and they still can't seem to fix bugs or exploits any faster than in this game.

If it's not affecting their pockets, it's probably not worth listening to for them.

I'm telling everyone I know not to buy this game. A complete waste of time and money.

At this point, I will not purchase ANY future EA game (not just EA Sports FC).
