Not everyone plays online. If you are going to play online it’s better to play a game that has a server in your specific country. The problem is less populated countries won’t have many other games that have server coverage either.
Another thing adding more servers don’t always help. Other countries will still route you to the server farther away because your isp. Like Mexico City has a server but people in the city connect to the Dallas USA because of their isp.
