One of my friends had a similar issue, but then he played a Squad Battle, and it worked for him. Which game mode did you play? Try playing one Squad Battle game and see if it works for you.

Also, try restarting the game, too—it might just be a temporary glitch.

I found the solution mate you need to have two active evos at the same time so the make your idol progresses
