Name one game mechanic or UT feature added that ea has improved on since fifa 23
I can't name one thing fc 24 or 25 has improved on from fifa 23. Here are some that come to mind
PRECISION PASSING: I would've said this is a great mechanic added but they had to completely mud the controls to implement it and for the most part it was only used to do glitchy 60 yards passes to your wingers which took nearly 2 years to patch.
RUN STYLES: fifa 23 only had explosive, controlled and lengthy and it made for a lot of unrealstic interactions but it was the first time it was added so it was bound to come with some problems. I was optimistic when i saw ea added more run styles cause i thought that would fix the issues, but pace is worse than its ever been. Fifa 23 mbappe was probably best player in the game, this year i barely vs him. His doesn't feel fast. Im guessing pace feeling bad is because of quick step and rapid being added. Explosive and controlled should of just been the quick step and rapid and not playstyles.
RUSH: Finally we got a game mode to play with friends that wasn't clubs or volta and honestly it was pretty fun especially early while you waited for rewards from rivals it was nice to play some rush and finish objectives. But as the months went on it became a rubber band simulator to complete your evos, it had awful restrictions added where i couldn't try certain cards. It also doesn't play like a real match which if it did there would probably be to many goals. So maybe the purposely made your players passing and shooting not to good. It is the first year of the game mode so im hoping its improved for 26, i did see you can play as the goalkeeper which is good but also dodgy at the same time. Im hoping to see futsal themed events. I still don't understand why rush isn't just a futsal game mode played on a futsal court. Theres been a lot of rise in popularity for futsal on youtube, so it would be a great opportunity to get more players to the game just so long as they dont add those stupid volta super powers. So because they didn't make rush play like a futsal game im not adding it as a good feature added rather a missed opportunity. Would've much preferred coop champs or futsal added.
EVOLUTIONS: Okay probably the only saving grace for ea fc, something we've wanted for the longest time and we finally got it and honestly at first it seemed they delivered. However it's come with no shortage of issues the first 6 months of ea fc 24 there was barely any evos which i accepted because it was its first year so it took a while to fix all the bugs that came with it. toward the end of 24 I really saw evos shine. Every card i evoed played how i formatted the card. But then in fc 25 it went backwards again. It started off really slow and then picked up and we were getting 1 everyday which was great. Until they started charging 500k for a card that would be 10k on the market. It also didn't help the fact players didn't play like what the card was showing. This is due to how playstyle reliant the games has become and how irrelevant stats are now. So as it stands even though its probably the reason it kept me playing fc 25 till march evos are still aren't polished. So i would much rather play fifa 23 without evos then 25 with evos.
ROLES & PLAYSTYLES: I could do an essay and how bad and detrimental roles/playstyles they have been to the game but this post is already quite long so i will save that for another post. I will just say im shocked they weren't removed for ea fc 25 and the fact there staying in 26 is super concerning I think there terrible for longevity and replayability. Ea is trying to implement some features from PES and they are failing miserably.
