Proposal to Separate Low Driven Shot from Time Finish for FC 26
Proposal to Separate Low Driven Shot from Time Finish for FC 26
Content:
Dear EA Sports FC Team,
I would like to propose a small but impactful gameplay adjustment for FC 26:
Currently, the Low Driven Shot (double tap shoot) shares the same input with Time Finish. This overlap makes it harder for players to reliably execute long-range scoring techniques outside the box. Such as Fitness shoot and Power shoot . And another confilct should be : Power shoot can also be Low driven and high driven if go with more power ?
The Low Driven Shot has been an important mechanic for precise and controlled finishing, especially from beyond the 16.5m area, where power shots may be blocked or deflected. By overlapping it with Time Finish, players lose access to a key offensive tool in competitive play.
Suggestion:
- Assign a separate input for Low Driven Shot (e.g., R1 + double tap shoot, or another combination).
- This allows Time Finish to remain intact while preserving a reliable mechanic for long-range precision shooting.
- Currently, the Low Driven Shot (double tap shoot) shares the same input as Time Finish. This creates an execution conflict: players who want a controlled low shot outside the box often unintentionally trigger Time Finish instead.
- Precision Shooting (high skill, pinpoint accuracy) can naturally default to Time Finish — it makes sense that precise, risk-reward shots require perfect timing.
- Here’s a key distinction:
Separating these mechanics will improve gameplay depth, expand tactical options, and give skilled players more control over finishing scenarios.
Thank you for considering this feedback.
